Diamond carats are numbers that define a diamond's weight and commonly denoted by "Ct". Carats range from a light 0.01 Ct to a heavy and expensive 3.00 Ct.

What is a Diamond Carat?

A carat measures the weight of a diamond, not the size. Each carat weighs 200 milligrams or 0.007 ounces. Here at Sona Sansaar, we ensure that our fine diamonds are of the highest quality and cut with precision.

Differences in Carat Pricing

A bigger diamond doesn't necessarily mean a higher diamond carat. A diamond can be half the size but may weigh more than the other. A diamond can also have the same size but vary in weight. This is caused by the impurities of the gem affecting its density. In simpler terms, carat weight does not define a diamond's size.
